| A project that I have worked on for Medien Online, a member of my employer's (Softworks AG) group. It is a service designed to show print publishers which advertisers are doing business with various publications. On a weekly basis, employees will review the new issues of newspapers and magazines and scan the image of all relevant advertisements. The images are added to our database and matched by industry, publication, date, and size. Our system can produce a list of all occurrences of an advertisement showing its history. The site is a service which can only be accessed by paying customers. It is available in German and English and currently tracks publications in Switzerland's German-speaking markets. |
| SrcManager Change Request & Versioning for 4D-based projects |
| A small but nice change request and versioning tool for 4D developers. Allows requests to be filtered and assigned by managers to the appropriate analysts, developers, testers and user liasons. Features a quick, web based interface for daily tasks and a client/server application for administration. Versioning is accomplished with by importing a 4D Insider library into projects you wish to track. The SrcMgr Explorer palette is the developer's interface to the version and code checkout features. Additional features and fixes are still needed but overall it's easy to use.

| I cleaned up the original English translation and converted the Microsoft Word file into HTML for this commercially sold 4D developer tool. Although we didn't get paid for the service, hopefully the mention of our company on the front page and in the press releases for the product offered us some valuable exposure. A copy of the manual is available online and in zip format [110 KB]. |
